Dr David Ryde, bachelor of medicine and surgery, fellow of the Royal Society of Physicians says: "since I'm a therapist, specializing in sports nutrition, I am a vegan and an active person, I have my own personal and professional experience of how nutrition affects the activity of the body.
Carbohydrate and energy-rich vegetarian diet provides the body with those nutrients that he really needs. Choose the best: give up meat and win!"
Therapist, member of the Royal Corporation of General practitioners, Dr Ryde is a vegan for many years; he has advised several national sports teams, including the football team first division.
For several years he worked in the Medical Commission of the British Olympic Association, was Chairman of the Medical Committee of the International Association of Table Tennis, a sportsman, a Rugby player. Currently, Dr. Ride continues to lecture and write articles on nutrition and sports medicine for doctors and non-professionals.
