Surely some of you saw docks for key cards in hotels, to which all the energy saving in the room is connected: inserted a card - the light turned on (you need to switch the buttons on the necessary lamps first), pulled out - everything turned off. Something similar came up with a group of Asian designers of unknown origin, creating the concept of a smart door handle Off, which monitors the power and gas in the house.
Unlike hotel cards, the handle located on the front door on the inside of the house acts on a different principle: you can switch between turning off the lights, gas or everything in the house, including outlets. We select the desired mode, click on the Off button on the side and leave the house, not forgetting to lock it with a key. Thus, not a single working iron, TV or stove will remain forgotten.
The idea is wonderful, but there are a couple of nit-picking:
1) how to turn it all back on coming home?
2) there is not enough fourth mode "turn off everything and turn on the alarm"
3) will the handle allow the owner to go out if he forgot even to turn it off? In general, there are a lot of questions, but, nevertheless, I still want to see this concept on sale, at least brought to mind.
