Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that over the next two years, the country's authorities will allocate at least 2 billion Australian dollars (about $ 1.4 billion) to restore Australia after a forest fire. It is noted that for these purposes, the National Fund for Recovering from Forest Fire will be created in Australia.
The funds will be directed to help local authorities, farmers, and producers of raw materials. It is also planned to invest in health programs.
“We will ensure the vitality and future of this country, and we will do this by investing in the work that needs to be done,” the prime minister said.
Morrison added that he expects Australian state governments to invest heavily in rebuilding bridges, roads, and schools destroyed by fires.
