More than 900 deaths from coronaviruses recorded in Spain on day two
More than 900 people died in Spain over the past 24 hours for the second day in a row, government figures showed on Friday, although the growth rate of new infections and deaths continued to slow.
Spain ranks second in the world in the number of deaths after Italy, and to date, the virus claimed 10 935 lives - 932 in the last day - out of 117 710 confirmed cases.
But ministry of health data confirms a steady downward trend in new cases and deaths.
