According to the Prime Minister of Latvia, the authorities of the Baltic countries decided to open internal borders from 05.15.2020.
So, from the appointed date, borders between countries such as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will be opened. All new arrivals to the Baltic countries will be required to quarantine for 14 days. Note that all 3 countries closed their borders in mid-March.
As of May 6, 2020, 1,428 cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were officially registered in Lithuania, 48 people died, 48 successfully recovered, 718 successfully recovered in Latvia: 900 were infected, 70 died, and recovered 464. In Estonia - 1 713 officially confirmed cases of infection, 55 - died, 264 - recovered.
