Countries associated with Schengen will open their borders to foreign visitors

The countries associated with the Schengen area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) took note of the recommendations of the EU concerning the gradual removal of restrictive measures on international travel.

Therefore, from 01 July 2020 they also opened the borders for citizens of the 15 States that are not part of the EU or the Schengen area, a list of which was approved by the Council of Europe. but at the same time, it is worth noting that tourists from the "red list" of countries where the epidemiological situation is characterized as unfavorable (Russian Federation included in the list), the entrance is still closed.

Note that in the list of countries from which you can enter the territory of the EU included Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea,Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and China. Residents of Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican belong to EU residents when applying this recommendation.

Reportedly, the list of countries that are allowed entry into the territory of the EU, will be reviewed by the leadership of the European Union every 2 weeks.
