According to information provided by representatives of Air Astana, Turkey has blocked the citizens of Kazakhstan from entering the country for a period of 2 weeks.
This decision was made by the Turkish leadership as a result of increased quarantine measures in Kazakhstan due to a new outbreak of coronavirus infection.
Note that in Kazakhstan from 07.07.2020 a number of restrictive measures for 14 days are introduced. The authorities of the country will not close international flights, however, they will not expand the list of countries with which it is planned to resume flights.
The Kazakhstan Airline continues to carry out flights from Almaty and Nur Sultan to Istanbul and Antalya - these are the flights that tourists who are today in the resorts of Turkey will return to the country.
