UK authorities have imposed a fine of £5,000 for going on holiday abroad

The UK authorities have decided to impose a fine (5,000 pounds) for its citizens who go on vacation abroad.

According to the country's leadership, the new law will come into force next week. Thus, the citizens of the United Kingdom during the lockdown are prohibited from leaving the territory of the country without urgent need.

Tourism, as stated by the authorities, is not a valid reason for the trip. You are allowed to travel only for study, work, and volunteer activities.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson notes that the revision of the rules for the departure of Britons outside the state will take place no earlier than 2021.04.05. In turn, the country's airlines expect the restoration of international flights by mid-May.
